I don't know if this will do it for you but I experienced a similar issue. During my efforts a GM mechanic told me that these engines had very tight injector parameters, he recommended I try to use a GM product for cleaning the injectors. It is a little costly, about $25.00 for a black bottle, but I put one in my gas tank and my problem went away. So, every six months I put one in the gas tank and have not have a problem.

Does it turn over like it wants to start?
If it does then put about 5 gallons of gas in the tanks and turn the key on. You should hear the fuel pump come on. It kind of sound like a humming sound coming from the rear of the car. If the pump in coming on then it is pumping gas to the motor. Torn the key on and off a few times and then try starting it. It may take a few times of trying this to get the gas pumped up to the motor.
when you say car lost power bought a new battery.sound like alternator not charging battery.with car running your voltage at battery should be 13.5 volts or 14.5 volts it not alternators need replacing.have garage replace alternator if faulty because 1993 to 1994 cars if you disconnect battery car would lose memory causing car not to idle.the car will stall out at a stop light or stop sign whole lot.it would relearn itself but the stalling out dangerous around a lot of traffic.
