Question about 1996 Honda Passport
The check transmission light in my 1994 honda horizon starts flashing within 10 minutes of my starting the engine. should i be worried?
you need a transmission computer located in floor on passenger side under carpet attached to the ecu computer you can get one on ebay for 120 dollars ALOT LESS THE parts store and it comes with a lifetime warranty

SOURCE: Check engine and d4 lights on
d4 is flashing as a trouble code for the automatic transmission... i would say without research that it is a code for a transmission solenoid. maybe while washing the car some water got in and caused a short...these solenoids are usually weatherproof....you could try disconnscting the battery for 30 secs..to clear the trouble code and then start the car. remember you may lose your preset info!

The over heating sounds like a blown head gasket and the reving sounds like you have a leaky intake gasket.

P1361 TDC Sensor Intermittent Interruption (I got this from Engine-Light-Help.com)
TDC should mean Top Dead Center.
It is the sensor that tells the computer the #1 cylinder piston is at the very top. And therefore, fires the spark plug.
Since the maintenance done above, I believe the the timing marks for the timing belt is not lined up properly. Being off by one tooth will cause this problem.

Should work they didn`t change much until 1995,just keep all the parts you can from the 93 incase something doesn`t match exactly.
