New battery, Starter turns. Engine fired and revd to 1000rpm and quickly shut down. Tried this 4 times and now no fire. AAA mechanic says no spark. AAA mechanic has had the vehicle for 3 days and cannot find the problem, other than the vehicle will not start.

Alot of times you will loose spark because of your crank/cam sensor malfunctioning this will cause a lost signal and keep the spark from igniting. you can ohm check the coil to see if that is where you are loosing spark also. other than that it could be your ignitor but those are the most common malfunctions let me know what you find out, good luck

Your first problem is no power to the coil/s. This could be the ignition switch or wiring from there to the coils. With ignition on, you should have 12 volts to the coil/s. The ECM grounds it out with help from the crank sensor. If you turn the ignition switch on and have the dash gauges and hear relays kick in, then check for bad/broken wires. Several things come on while in the run position. Like radio, blower fan, lights/gauges in the dash. If they don't come on, first would be checking the switch, then wires. You need a volt ohm meter, electrical shcematics.

My 95 Pathfinder has sat idle for a couple months and now it won't start.

letting a vehicle sit idle for months is not good !!! now you need to do some work, so get out your check book ! replace both air & fuel filters, replace spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap & rotor, add fresh fuel & fuel injector cleaner to tank @ same time. why are you going from accessory to run, that doesn't make any sense, stop it, please ! now get to work, good luck !

2002 kia wont start

This is a long story but as the logic goes, checck the fuel, fuel pump, If Ok then the spark should be good, checck the plugs, the coils, if Ok remove plugs and let the excess over low out of the system. Try.
If there is no spark, fuel, then must check for system failure(ECM or sensors).

1991 Nissan PathFinder will not start. The battery is fully charged.

Check for spark. Pull a plug and ground it DO NOT HOLD IT WITH YOUR HAND. Then have someone turn the motor over as you watch.

Assuming that's good, check the fuel system. It could be a clogged filter, a stuck (float bowl) needle valve in the carburetor, bad fuel pump, or water in the tank/carb.

Turns over but wont start 2002 nissan altima

begin troubleshoot your car to the fuel system, does the fuel goes to fuel rail, check the fuel pressure, does it pressurized? if no pressure check the fuel pump or fuel itslf, check the fuse of injectors and coils, also the coil ground, if all ok, try to remove one spark plug wire and observe the high voltage drop while crunking the engine, if spark is ok and fuel is ok, it engine timing problem, if no spark check ignition system voltage on and grounding, if voltage ok, but no spark, check the crankshop position sensor and camshaft sensor.
