Question about 1998 Ford Escort
The water reservoir for my windscreen washers has completely frozen solid. any tips on the best way to melt it and how much antifreeze do i put in to prevent it happening again please.
Remove the hose from bottom of tank, steal your wifes hair blow dryer and melt the ice that way. If you can remove the tank easily place it in a sink full of hot water at that will melt it. They make special additives for windshield washers, but regular rubbing alchohol will work. No matter what you use rub some of it on a small area of your car to make sure it will not damage the paint. Hope this helps
