check the headlight relays ,
Check for possible faulty light stalk switch also. Dash lights may fail with this possible cause.

One of my turn signals wont work, both my headlights only work on highbeams

replace the high beam switch which causes this problem. Also clean the terminals for the directional light bulb. That will cause a negative continuity to the bulb

1990 mx5 mazda head lamps go up and down on own . with out switches being toutched .

The headlights moving up and down on their own is almost always related to dirty grounds on the circuit - specifically at a multi-pin connector located just under the brake booster. It's a white flat plastic rectangle with about 7 leads running into it and attached with a machine screw into the shelf area below the booster. Water can collect there causing corrosion. The connector can be opened up and the contacts cleaned. There's a good video on cleaning electrical connectors on YouTube

I own a 1990 Mazda MX5 and the headlights need adjusting - how do you adjust them please. The housing is flush with the bonnet so no need to adjust this just the aim.

After taking off the covers which suround the head lamps. There are two screws 1 in the 6 0`clock position to adjust the up and down position and one in the 9 0`clock position to adjust side to side position

What fuse is needed for a mazda miata headlights?

it is a large pink 30a fuse located under the hood in the upper left hand corner. take it out and to an auto store to make sure you get the right one... it says head... not headlight.

Good luck.

Passenger side headlamp wont light up

I'm assuming globe means bulb. I have replaced many bulbs that look fine, and that turns out to be the problem. But to stop you from chasing down a problem that isn't there, test the connector that attaches to the bulb. Should be power there with the head lights on. There should be a fuse, and a relay. The fuse is under the dash or on the side of the dash near the door hinges, I'm just not sure if this car would have seperate fuses for L headlight and R headlight. But you should check power first at the connector.

Headlights continually raising and lowering

I have searched the web for an answer to this problem, it seems the problem may lye with either a connection to the multifunction switch or the switch itself, or a poor ground to the headlights.

The gears that drive the light to open are worn out, you will need to replace the head light motor assembly, this is common isuue with pop up motorized headlights.
