Question about 2006 Jeep Wrangler
The engine oil is full the water if fine i just started it and the engine light did not go out until i stopped the car. It just come on when you start it and stays on
Take it to any autoparts store they will hook up a code puller for free and tell you what code is being stored and clear it if you want for free, dont take it to the dealership waste of money this is same thing and free =) the code will keep coming back unless you fix what it is tripping, usually a o2 sensor or something wont effect car much to where you will notice but will throw a code till replaced, good luck let me know what you find out bud.

It may be a stored problem that fixed itself but the error codes need to be cleared by a diagnostic machine i think its like 40-60$ at a dealership

The oil pressure sending unit has gone bad. I sending unit is just above the oil filter and you can get to it from the top. When you face the Engine look down towards the oil filter, the oil pressure sending unit is just above that and it looks like a cylinder with two wires coming from it. If you don't see it, it's right between the exhaust manifold and oil filter.
If you go to Auto Zone or Parts Source, they'll have the oil pressure sending unit and the step by step instructions, When installing the new sensor. Do not use teflon tape or any sealant, the sensor is tapered and need's the good ground from the engine to give you right readings.
Good luck and hope this helps.
