There is a single screw located inside the glove box (on the left side) that needs to be removed. Then just carefully pull out the plastic dash as it is only secured by pushpins. Then remove the 2 screws holding the radio, and unplug the antenna and wiring harness, and it's out.

Sorry, I was mistaken.....the single screw that needs to be taken out is NOT inside the glovebox, but is located under the fuse panel on the end of the dash. Hope this helps.

I have a 2002 buick centry. I recently installed a cd player. I forgot to put electrical tap on the wires. Now my gauges will not work & the cd player is not working. How can i fix this?

It sounds like you hooked your radio up to your dash lights, and you probably blew a fuse.
Perhaps you could remove the radio, since you know about it from putting it in, and go ahead and tape those wires.
The fuse should be under the dashboard.
God bless your efforts.

2002 Buick Century Custom. Why won't the radio turn on?

Perhaps the rodent chewed on a wire the repairman missed.

2000 Buick Century. Put in a replacement radio/cd/casset player. Radio works, clock works, but CD and casset do not. The message comes up E 13. What does this e code mean?

if its a radio shack radio, it means E13 means "Tape Communication Error". It is caused by the
microprocessor reading speed pulses from the tape deck either too fast, most other makes mean about the same thing, normally a stuck tape will cause this code to show up, either that or the drive gear that loads and unloads the tape is broken, cracked, or jammed

Please can any one tell me how to reset my radio code 2002 buick centry

the code is reset by the cd which is provided by the manufacturer. u can request the radio manufacturer to give u the cd.
another option is that u can go to a car stereo shop, they usually have that unlocking cd, pay them and get ur radio unlocked.
another option, if u r a wiz kid, google for the unloc cd of ur radio, u may get lucky and find it some where :P

Please i really need to get my reset code for my Buick century 2002

Are you talking radio code? If so you need to call Buick dealer and provide your VIN# to get code for theft deterrent radio, they're the only source.

I need to installl a cd player in my car and i cant get the thing that holds the radio and heater off.

You will have to remove the dash cover to gain access to that bezel piece. That bezel actually extends around the instrument cluster and and radio area, all one piece. The dash cover is held on by a series of torx screws located under the top defrost vent, side access panels (when you open the car doors, there is a panel on each side). In the glove box area and there are two 10 mm bolts that are tucked up under in the glove box area but accessible. After you remove the dash cover, you can remove the torx screws that hold the bezel in place. On the bezel down by the radio, there are spring clips that hold that part of the bezel. Remember when replacing the stock OEM radio, you will need to buy a mounting hardware kit, wiring harness kit and antenna kit for the Cavalier that will work with your new cd player.

LOC on radio buick century 2002. how do I find the code?

you must contact the dealership, a buick or GM one. they will give you the code but you may have to remove the radio and give them the serial number. Before you do anything look in the owners manual and see if the code is in there.
