Question about GMC Sonoma
First check your fuses there is a ATC fuse and 4wd fuse. If they are both good try resetting the 4wd computer. To reset pull out both the ATC and courtesy lamp fuses for at least one minute then reinstall both fuses then cycle the key on and off 5 times. 1 cycle = key on and off.

more than likely there is a code set for the 4 wheel drive system and its stuck in a "limp in" mode. you're going to need to get your hands on a code reader or take it in to the dealer for a diagnosis.

The blinking is telling you there is a problem in the system. There isn't much to the system, so if you can get the codes out of if then report back and we can lead you in the right direction.
We'll need the code, Otherwise you'll just be throughing expecive parts at your truck.
