Question about 2007 Saturn Outlook
I have a low moan in my steering column when turning the wheel. I took the truck to the shop today and they indicated there were 2 bulletins on this. SO they did what the bulletins said to do and lubed a piece maybe a bolt or something under the steering boot, I think they said. I left and the moan is still there but worse and now the steering column is popping when I am turning the wheel...I had a loud whine about a year ago and they switched the power steering fluid out for sythetic and the sound went away. This new sound is totally different - anyone have any ideas
The probably lubed the intermediat shaft conenction. The loud poping noise could be from them not sitting the boot back correctly. Inspect your boot. As for the moaning noise Only thing I can think of is a hydraulic noise.
