I have no ignition spark on my 1983 Toyota supra

We have changed coils but stilll no spark at plugs or from coil wire. Before the car died it was running poorly and would occassionally power out and stall.

Why my 1983 supra has no spark?

Check the coil, the distributor, points (if it has points - not sure if that one's electronic or not), cap, rotor. Check the voltage going to the coil when the key is turned to "on", and again when the key is turned to "start".

Just remove an ignition coil that you know is good, with a good spark plug and hook up to the wire were the bad one was. Have someone start your truck up for you and if the spark plug fires then the ignition coil that you took off was bad. But before you do that just try a new spark plug that may be the problem.

My 87' Toyota Supra quit getting spark. I've checked all visable fuses, tested the coil, the plugs and wires are good, and the distributer cap and button appear to be in good shape. Is it possible to

It could be the throttle position sensor, this is a small electronic part that goes bad on pretty much every fuel-injected car eventually. I think it's located on the throttle body itself.
