Question about 2004 Datsun 510
I have a 1979 Datsun and recently I noticed a squeeling noise when pressing the clutch. The gears change but the noise is not going away. More noticeable when cold.
What could it be.
That noise is coming from the throw-out bearing, its dry and worn needs to be replaced. While you are in there you should do the whole clutch job becuse you need to remove the tranny to change that bearing which consists of Pressure plate, clutch plate throw-out bearing center bearing and resurfacing of flywheel.maybe even a new slave cylinder. Good Luck
