Question about 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300 Diesel
Recently I purchased a 91 Mercedes-Benz 300 2.5 turbo diesel. The car has 240,000 miles on it. I can't believe it looks, drives and runs so well with so many miles on it. I noticed in the trunk that the previous owner had a diesel fuel additive and I was wondering if any other M-B diesel owners recommend a diesel fuel additive. Any other suggestions for care of the vehicle?
Yes very much so in the winter.. diesel fuel can gel if it gets cold enough ...that why you see semi trucks sitting on the sholder of the road on really cold days when there fuel gels,,,,,,if you live near a truck stop or or where trucks fuel look for HOWES fuel treatment it works great...if your car has a block heater on it keep it plugged in on cold days car will stat easier ... hope this helps...
