Question about 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
ALL OF A SUDDEN THIS HAPPENED, IS IT TRUE THAT THIS CAN OCCURE AFTER SOMEONE HAS TRIED TO SIFIN OR STEAL THE GAS OUT OF YOUR TANK
I have an 88 chev PU truck and have had to have the sending unit replaced three times inside of the tank for the same problem. A really bad GM design. No; it is not caused for someone trying to get the gas.Their is a one way metal check built into the filler neck to stop one from doing so.I believe it is because I usually keep the tank almost full which causes the float unit to wear and hang at the top.
