There's no power getting to ignition module. all spark plugs are new, battery is new, alternator is new, all fuses and relays have been replaced, even the code for a new crankshaft position sensor has been replaced. can not find nor figure out why ignition module isn't geting power to it. help pls
Not sure if I am following you right.
The engine has 3 coils that fire the plugs. The coils are mounted on a module that provides voltage and ground to the coils.
The module gets power from a 20amp fuse marked "Inj" for injector.
The computer controls the module based on info from the various sensors.
A mechanic would do a pin test on the module to diagnose a no spark condition.

I noticed you replace the crankshaft sensor, but not the CAMshaft sensor.
The Ignition module takes the input of both sensors to tell the coil when to energize.
This sensor should come up as an error code when you attach a obd reader.
Even if your light is not on - there may be a code. If it is not your vehicle originally, some people pull the bulb!

CHECK THE FUEL PRESSURE A 3.1L ENGINE SHOULD BE 41 TO 47PSI. ALSO REMOVE THE VACUUM LINE FROM THE FUEL REGULATOR, START THE ENGINE AND WATCH FOR FUEL AT THE REGULATOR PORT.
DROP THE EXHAUST SYSTEM AT THE REAR OF THE ENGINE. TRY RUNNING IT DOWN THE ROAD A SHORT DISTANCE. IF EVERYTHING WORKS AS DESIGNED THE CATYLITIC CONVERTER IS PLUGGED.

Well you hit all the major ones, could be crank position sensor, ignition module, a bad coil pack (it should have 3), you need to check that you have spark to each plug while the engine is turning over (!!!be careful as this will hurt if you get shocked!!!), this will rule out coil packs. if you have no spark to any plug your looking at a bad ingnition module (which is what the coil packs bolt to). Hope this gets you on the right track!
SOURCE: cannot figure out how to test the crank shaft
If you unplug the crank sensor at the module and measure the resistance of the crank sensor. (the yellow wire and the black wire) The resistance of the crank sensor should be 900-1200 ohms.

If the liquid smells like antifreeze its a blown headgasket or cracked head, if it smells like gas it could even be a stuck injector or a bad fuel pressure regulator. I would like to say it is uncommon, but its not that uncommon for a quad motor to have a headgasket issue sometime.
