Question about 2001 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class
If you have the key for your vehicle, then to manually open the trunk:
 insert the key into the trunk key hole
 turn the key 45 degrees
 press in to manually unlock
This is important if you lose power and need to access the battery (via the trunk).

To open the hood red lath under th dash on the drivers side must be pulled toward you, this will release the primary latch. then looking @ the front of the benz there will be a small "t" shaped handle tat will be out from the grill pull this handle and the hood will open

Yes. There will be a post that should be red and will be surrounded by an inch thick of plastic / rubber. That is your positive post. There may be a negative post near it, your you can use the frame of your car which is negative as well

SOURCE: where in trunk? Cant find.
The battery is stored in a compartment behind
the left front fender and is accessible without removing
the tire and wheel. Remote battery terminals are located
in the engine compartment for jump starting.
To access the battery, turn the steering wheel fully to the
right and remove the inner fender shield.
