I need to plug my truck in. I can't find where you plug and extension cord into the truck. We've looked all over for it, and it's not in the manual that I've found. Thanks

I looked all around on the passenger side. I still can't find it anywhere. Looked all around the wheel house. Can you be more specific. I've never seen one so hard to find. Thanks

It is on the passenger side, look around on the wheel house, three conductor black cord like an extension cord. It will be tied up and stuffed in a hiddenarea most times, look at the block core plugs u will see where it plugs in.

I will look into this further, did you check the block core plug for the heater on the passenger side of the engine?

Ok here is the answer, all diesel trucks starting in 2005 got block heaters, but only certain states had the cord installed, and they moved it to the drivers side, the cord will be wraped up and tucked down into an opening on the unside of the fender, the kicker, it is not always in the same place, so bottom line u do have a block heater but no cord to connect it. I have no list of states that got the cord.

If you are talking about a scanner or a Banks Reflash tool. The Diagnostic port will be in reach of the driver seat no further than the other side of the center consel.

More than likely it is under the dash right by the knee panel.

I hope that is what you are talking about. If not please be more specific.

The drain plug is situated on the final drive casing at the rear of the transmission (plug may need a square or hex drive wrench).

There is no level plug - the correct qty of oil must be measured and then poured in.
If Petrol 1.9 ltrs, diesel 2.0.

The oil is 75/80w.

There is no fuse. The glow plugs work on relays. If you are having trouble with the glow plug system then Haynes has an excellent manual for the Chevy 6.2. It is part # 10330, Haynes Techbook, Diesel Engine Repair Manual. It cost about $20.

It's a 1990 Toyota HiluX surf. Can't start it, yet the day before running fine.

a glo plug is basically a heating element that heats up the cylinders to allow for easy starting of a diesel engine. there should be one per cylinder. if it is a diesel, you could have an air bubble in the fuel system, which will cause it not to start. You would need to take it to a shop to bleed the fuel system.
