Question about 1990 Buick Century
My heater is not blowing hot air. I have changed the thermestate. My heater core is not leaking because, there is anterfrize still in the raditior. can someone get back with me on the problem,. Someone told me that the door that opens to let cold and or hot air through is stuck in the middle to where it is onle cold air blowing out
Try flushing out your heater core. sometimes it gets a scale build up and restrickes the flow thru it. what i do is remove both heater hoses to heater core and mix up some water and baking soda and pour it in the heater core and let it set for about a half hour then flush. you might also want to blow the antifreeze out of core be fore you do this as so you get enought of the solution in it. just make sure you flush it out both ways. use a garden hose for this. it makes a mess. but it could be a cheap fix. good luck.
