Driving down the road in the 05 monte carlo the heat is blazing. When you come to a stop at a light, you get cool air. Any suggestions to this fix will be much appreciated.

I also have a 2005 MOnte Carlo with no heat when stopped. The coolant level is full, did remove bleeders and get air bubbles out but didnt fix problem. The temp gage creeps up when stooped but is normal when driving.I also have a 2005 MOnte Carlo with no heat when stopped. This is most often caused by low coolant levels, have u checked the coolant level, if it is low also make sure u have no leaks..This is most often caused by low coolant levels, have u checked the coolant level, if it is low also make sure u have no leaks..

You have to bleed the air out of the system. There are 1 maybe 2 bleeders on the front of the engine on the cooling system bypass pipe one near the upper hose the the othe on the drivers side of the pipe. They are brass with a small bleeder valve in the middle. Get the car up to temperature and take your time to allow all the air out. Refill cooling system after it cools. Hope you didn't do any damage running it hot.
check if the condition occurs when you have your foot on the brake at stop signs-stop lights. It may be an air leak in the brake booster that is allowing air into the manifold and altering the mixture to lean.
The passenger side fan should only come on while driving at highway speeds, to offer additional cooling help to cool down car, the Driver side fan is for when parked, ideling, city traffic, and air conditioner use. At least that is what i was told.
Stop by any good parts store and have them do an OBII scan (fault scan) Most will do it FREE. They'll pull codes and identify what is causing your "miss"
Hi;
If your engine cools down when moving fast, you either have a problem with your water pump or your electric fans that cool off your radiator and a/c condenser. This is controlled by a temperature switch, but these fans should kick on instantly when A/C is selected.
sounds like you have a bad ground. There should be a motor ground on the back of the motor anas well as the battery ground. The battery going dead could be caused by this or a bad regulator in the altenator unplug the altenator to check this for the starting problem
