Re: rear window sprayer does not work on honda CRV 2003
On my 2007 CRV, I have to hold it long. Since I hardly use the rear sprayer, there is no liquid in the hose and it does take a little while before I get enough liquid in the hose to get the pressure going.

by using a pin to clear the nozzle all you are doing is pushing the obstruction back into the hose which immediately comes back into the nozzle blocking it again. Take off the hose to the nozzle and use compressed air to blow the obstruction out of the system
The rear wiper has its own pump motor. pull the hose from the wiper and have someone engage to see if there is a clog. do the same at the motor. if bo liquid comes out then its the pump. also check fluid level in reservoir as well as a possible secondary reservoir
when you push the button to spray the window "do you hear the sprayer pump motor"?
If no, your sprayer pump motor could have failed or come diconnected. now if you do hear the sprayer pump kick in then> check your lines "the small rubber hoses that lead to the actual sprayer nossels. make sure the small hoses are not damaged and leaking and not pinched or restricked.. in rare cases the sprayer pump could have failed and still make a sound like its working but not pump out any fluid.. also in some cases BUT RARE you could have a line or filter screen plugged inside the washer resivor.. Good Luck!
Your washer system could be low on water, the pump that pumps water to the rear sprayer could be bad or the connector could be loose, the hose to the rear sprayer could be busted or the rear head could be clogged.
There can be many things affecting your sprayer... goodluck!
The reservoir does not need replacement. First check for burnt fuse. Next check if the washer motor terminals are securely connected. If you want to test the motor connect it to the battery and see if it works. If the motor is fine then this is a wiring fault. The motor may also be clogged with things like small bits of paper etc.
