Question about 1991 Dodge Dakota
the only time the engine will start is when the check engine light in the dash comes on. but now the light does not appear and I cannot hear the fuel pump running. Is the fuel and spark connected in series on the same fuse?? I have changed the distributor the wires and rotor. the last time I had this problem I put the vehicle in a heated area it started right away.
Check to be sure the connections are good at the power to the battery. One part splits to the starter, the other to the truck's other electrical systems. Good luck
