well the way my boyfreind described it. Its the place where the amp is hooked so it works. he said he hooked it up to the subs but he doesn't know where to hook up the other part to make it work.

It is not a fire hole it is a firewall but you have to hook up the batt to the batt using aleast 8 gage wire and remote to the acc wire on the radio and ground to the car body

The cigarette lighter in my car is not hooked up to anything. im wanting to know i i hook it up?

get an inline fuse holder and run it under the dash and out a grommet on the firewall. connect it to the positive (red) connector on the batter. than with the ground (black) connect that to a screw that goes in the body somewhere. use a 14 gauge ring terminal connector on both ground and positive wire. use 15amp fuse in in line. cylindrical, atc, or mini atc will do. since it is not hooked up to an ignition source it will work when the car is off. it will only have power when engaged. don't worry about power drain.

I have a 99 olds cutlass. It constantly overheats because the cooling fans does not kick in at all. What could be going wrong? a sensor? relay? or the thermostat?

well have you checked the fan to see if it works. hook a wire to postive side of battery & hook to one side of fan to see if it runs if not fan bad if does it sensor or relay fuse bad

You can jump across the celonoid on the starter. If the engine turns over then your problem is either the celonoid or the starter switch.
