Back brakes 88 chevrolet pickup

We cant get back brakes after replacing new parts, anyone with any suggestions?

Your proportioning valve is sticking. try pressure bleeding front this should help it move back might wanna tap on it with a hammer also.this is the valve whre all the lines go in and come out

You may have to install brake cylinder kits on the front wheels. The kits come with all you need to replace them. Or it could also be the main cylinder that's leaking.

Im about to put new brakes on my 1992 Oldsmobile 88 Royale and I cant find any diagrams on how to change and bleed the brakes.Can anyone help me?


you don't have to bleed the brakes if your just replacing pads,only time you have to bleed them is if you open system.

I put a new steering Columb in my 88 Chevy pickup and now the brake lights don't work


You may have broken or loosened brake light switch on top of brake pedal under the dash.

88 Chevy truck runs then dies for no reason


do a test to see if the coil is ok and check the red and white wire coming from the back of the distributor for corrosion if those fail test the injectors for pulse

sounds like the brake booster which is the big black round thing behind the master cylinder it it has a vacume leak to the brake booster.
