Humming sound form the rear when I go over 35mph

Initially the car would start making noise between 45-55mph then it would stop and start up again around 70mph. when I shifted the wait of the car by turning left the sound would go away. I had the 2 front bearings replaced. still had the same issue. I than replaced the left rear bearing, issue resolved. less then one month later the car is making the same kind of noise only it starts at around 35mph does not go away at any other speed and does not stop with shifting the wait. any ideas?? Thanks in advance.

Humming noise driving

Check the transmission fluid easy fix. The humming noise could be road noise and can't do anything about that, but if it is coming from any certain area around the vehicle would be helpful in finding a solution. Check rear wheel bearings for loose worn or damaged areas. Hope this Helps

I have a 2002 ford explorer. It has a humming sound when I drive it like it has oversize off road tires on it but it doesnt. It has BF Goodrich rugged trail t/a tires with 13000 miles on them. This is ...

Would sooner think wheel bearing, should be able to hear the noise or feel play in the bearing if jacked up. Abs light on? often a bad bearing will get metal in the sensor and turn on the ABS light also.
