Hello you should check for bad ground cable or cable mounting at the engine . you can bipass with jumper cables for a quick test.

check your battery make sure terminals are clean and corrosion free . put a charger on your battery to make sure it is charged fully then see if it starts easier if it does great and if it happens again get your battery tested its either your battery altenator or starter relay

Sounds like it could be your starter. Try tapping it with a hammer, not too hard, while someone else trys to start it. If this works you need to replace the starter. First make sure your battery cables ate tight though.

It cold still be the battery if you didn't let it run at least 15 minutes between starts. The problem you get with a battery low on fluids is a dead cell situation which will give you these symptoms. Now, the problem itself actually sounds like you have a bad voltage regulator which is shorting. You can have the Alternator and voltage regulator tested, the two are built together in your model so it's a one stop test. Make sure all your battery cables are good and tight and clean, if they are corroded it will do this and it will do it if it is loose. Make sure you actually physically check the cable because if the corrosion got under the protective cover it could have caused the wires to basically break in the cable. (Doesn't happen often but it can) If the alternator checks test the battery, they can test both at Auto Zone, Advance Auto or Pep Boys so you get the part you need.

My 99 Lumina won't start sometimes. Turn the key and nothing connects, doesn't turn over. I've had several new starters and new batteries put in. And then it always starts again, but the problem returns....

it sounds like your security system is draining all of the battery. you should try putting a seperate battery supply just for the security or get a power regulator that they use for sound systems. it should help controll the power when your car is off. also check and make sure your altenator is running properly. the altenator charges your battery when the car is running, it may be that too.

01 kia optima stalled and wont start...starter just clicks

It seems the starter is playing up.First check if your battery is charged fully or try to jump start and see what happens. If the engine start then it's either you need a new battery or else you need a replacement alternator.Test using a voltmeter if the actual altenator is working. Finally the last option is the starter motor that needs changing or fixing...Hope this helps.

well the altenator could have went bad and caused the car to turn off. sometimes a jump just wont work. and as far as the lights and things working the battery will have enough power to work the small electrics but not to start the car. have your altenator checked as well as your battery
