Question about Hyundai Elantra
Hello! sorry to be the bearer of financial responsibilties at this time of year but unles you know a qualified competant Technician I would enlist to your dealer.
If the timing belt breaks the cost's for the repair will possibly treble and serious internal engine damage can occur.
Your fuel problem sounds like a blocked/restricted Vent off on your fuel tank? when you take the cap off is there a slight Whoosh of air? if so then quiz Hyundai you never know it may be a warranty recall and you could get that side of the repair free?

a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Mechanic (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
