Good way to tell if its your fuel is to open your gas tank lid and have some turn the key to "on" and listing for a click. if it clicks its good, if it doesnt its bad, if its bad check on your frame of the truck from where the gas tank is up to your firewall, if not there the fuel pump could be internal, which means you would have to drop your gas tank to replace the pump.

I HAVE 1985 TOYOTA CELICA SUPRA THAT WON'T STARTED. HAVE REPLACED SPARK PLUGS, ROTOR, DISTRIBUTOR CAP. WHAT CAN I DO?

Check your fuel delivery system, if the car is turning over and not starting you might have a bad fuel pump or fuel rail. Do you smell fuel when you try and start the engine? Or there is a longshot that the timing is off. Check the timing first.

85 Yota pick-up, Ultra High and Low Idle, now no start

mcdevito75 here, Could be a dirty fuel fliter, remove fuel inlet toarb, crank engine but don"t start, container of 1 pint of gas should pump out from detached carb. fuel inlet, if not replace fuel pump. Very high idle and very low idle could also be a major vacumn leak, check all vacumn hoses, also check intake manifold, spray soapy water around intake manifold try to start, if you see water sucked in or engine now starts, there"s your problem, a vacumn leak.

as long as your volt meter is capable of measuring OHMS you can test wires, find the main power wire to the fuel pump and measure for voltage when you turn the key on(3-4 sec) if power is present at the fuel pump, and the pump don't run, then replace it

No power to fuel pump.

Don't forget to check for a good ground at the pump, I've seen this problem pay for a new fuel pump more than once.
