What you have described is what happens when the wheel Bearing/Hub Assembly goes bad and needs to be replaced about a $80 part

check for bulges in the side walls of the tyres and check for belt separation. Disconnect the front axles into free wheel mode and if the noise is not there it will be tyre related as there is no movement in the diff or drive axles

Does a 2002 taurus have wheel barrings

Possibilities are:
  1. Bad wheel bearing
  2. Bad tie rod
  3. Bad ball joint
  4. Bad strut
  5. Loose lug nuts
Most cases it's a wheel bearing but since you're getting a loud noise too, it could very well be a bad ball joint or tie rod end.

I have a 2001 ford escort zx2 and it seems as if the front wheels wobble at speed at or under 30 mph. The faster you go the wobble disappears. Is this the wheel bearing, loose lug nuts, or u-joint?

If the wobble is very noticeable at low speed I would first suspect the tyre or tyres. Start by changing each front tyre with the spare and see if that affects the symptoms.
I am assuming that you have checked that the wheel nuts are not loose?
I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.

Front right wheel shakes and wobbles.

then you have a right front wheel suspension or drive part in very bad shape. i would get it to a shop before the whole thing dies. someone must take an actual look at it.

Front wheel on 92 ford tempo gl

Your hub assembly is worn out. Your hub assy. is another word for wheel bearing. Check your CV axle condition while you have it up in the air. If your outer boot is torn, replace the axle as well. Don't bother with replacing the boot, the bearings inside are still damaged.
