1998 olds 88 headlights stay on

Could be a problem with the automatic system, maybe a relay, or the headlight switch.
You may need a book to trace the circuits.

Serpentine belt diagram for a 1998 oldsmobile 88

Hello. There is usually a diagram on a label under the hood, also in the owner manual. Finally go to any NAPA store and they will print you off one from their data base. Joe

Please give my answer 4 thumbs up since it is on target and also free to you. Thanks. Joe

Loking for fuse box/relays diagram for 1994 Olds 88 Royale

Fuses (located on a swing down unit near the steering column or in the glove box) protect all the major electrical systems in the car. In case of an electrical overload, the fuse melts, breaking the circuit and stopping the flow of electricity.

I suggest check your 1994-Oldsmobile-Eighty-Eight-Owners-Manual for descriptions (page 223 and next).

Hope this help..

My hi and low beam headlights were broken in a small damage accident-1991 olds delta 88 royale-my local supply store tells me a replacement is not available? can any advise thank you bill

hi bill, I think the problem might be the glass cover for the headlights. I checked, and the 87-91 olds delta 88 have a replacement bulb, not a sealed beam headlight. I assume the glass cover (lens) of the headlights were broken due to the minor accident. The headlight lens, or glass, might be found in an auto salvage yard. You might find new ones at a dealership, but they would be very hard to find for a 91, as they don't make them anymore, due to the cars age (no demand to make manufacturing them worthwhile). So check the junk yard, it's your best bet. Good luck, Curt

Changing headlight bulbs on a 1998 olds 88

Open the hood find where the light are, there is a black socket going to them turn to the left and pull out,do not touch the new bulb with your fingers or the oil from them will burn the bulb out.
