1991 Ford Probe fuse box

My main fuse in the fuse box was blown but when I tried to remove it, it broke into pieces. It must have been melted to box. Do I need to buy a new fuse box now?

To ensure good connections, yes but you still should be able to plug the new fuse in until you get the box relpaced

Need diagram of fuse box for blown fuse for lighter, blower ford 2005 Taurus se

the auto parts or electronic parts store sells an instrument screwdriver probe with a sharp point instead of a flathead or phillips head and a wire that has a clamp that comes out of the screwdriver handle. attach this clamp on a metal with no paint on it to provide a good ground. the flat fuses have two slots that the probe can be inserted into. stick the probe into the flat fuse slot. the screwdriver probe handle should light up both times as you insert the probe into the two slots (one at a time), if the fuse is good. that's how you find the bad fuse.

My lights for a ford escape 2001 wont work

check under the hood for black box, lift the cover off of black box, marked" main fuse and relay boxfuse positions should be marked on underside of the lid to main fuse panel box, that you have just removed.check for a blown headlamp fuse in that box. it's either a blown fuse in that box,or if only one headlights "out" it will be a blown bulb(headlight bulb) it's very unusual for both headlight bulbs to blow at once. so in saying that, look for a blown headlight fuse. thank you for choosing fixya.com.

sounds like your batery is dead, or your main fuse is blown, check to make sure all the wires are connected, put your old solenoid back in and charge your battery

1999 expedition rear window won't open?

Have you checked the fuse for the window. Refer to your owners manual for location of the fuse box/es. The reference information should be in the fuse boxes. Find the fuse for the rear window and pull it and see if it is blown. The metal strip will not be in one piece it it is blown. If it is blown replace it with the same amp rating fuse. If the fuse is good, then I would start with the window motor etc.

Every thing in the dash does not work

The problem could be either a wiring problem or a fuse has blown out. I would check the fuse box for any fuses that might have blown.

91 ford probe fuse box

You might have better luck looking for 'relay box' as I had a number of hits on that phrase:
http://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1GGLS_en-USUS291&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=1991+ford+probe+"relay+box"

If you can find a replacement, you might want to pull fuses and relays and coat them with either dielectric grease or at least petroleum jelly (Vasoline) to protect them. Fuse/relay boxes next to the battery have a hard life because of the fumes from it and once the contacts start to corrode, a meltdown is a lot more likely.
