Question about 1994 Ford Taurus

Corner light continued...

I have replaced the headlight bulbs on my car, but I can't figure out how to remove the bulbs on my corner lights so that I can replace them. How do I replace the front corner light bulbs on my 1994 Ford Taurus GL? Um I was able to get to my headlight from under the hood of the car. Are you saying I have to get underneath my car even though I can see the connection from under the hood? I just don't know what I need to remove the bulb, nor do I know how to remove the bulb. The headlights were obvious and simple... all I had to do was unscrew the back washer and they practicaly popped out.

What I did first was remove the headlight assembly.this is easy to do
1. remove the 3 holding clip that hold the headlight unit to your header, this is the frame.
2. carefully disconnect the headlight bulbs from the unit, not touching the bulbs itself.
3. you can not gain access to the courner light and it is just a simple twist of the bulb to remove it from the unit.
4. pull the little light bulb from the unit and carefully replace the bulb
5. reattach all the parts back.

this is very simple and easy it will not take you that lond to do either since you are only replacing the bulbs and not the assembly

How to remove headlight

I presume that you are replacing the bulb, typically the ENTIRE headlight with 3 or 4 bolts. NONE of which do any adjusting...then the whole thing comes out for easy bulb replacement. DO NOT TOUCH the glass of the replacement bulb.

How do you properly remove cover to change

The directions for changing the headlight light bulb in all cars are near to same . but all car models are not the exact same, so there may be a few differences based on your particular car. But this.instructions may properly guide you about the directions to replace the head light bulb in your car.
The instructions are as follows :----
1) First of all open the hood of your car and put a spot light or flash light onto the back of the headlight. Look towards the far corner side of the hood, the headlight is located in a space mounted to the far sides.

Note: In some car models there will be a wiring component connected usually by plastic clips, so detach the plastic clips and then pull wiring to the side. Then remove the back plate.

1) Remove the Old Light bulb which will be easily visible. Then remove old light bulb by screwing it to the left slowly and carefully.
2) You can get the new light bulb from local auto store and purchase the bulb exactly that matches the one your car model .
3) Then insert the new light bulb in reverse by screwing to the right, and secure in place confirm bulb is properly connected and fitted and not remained loose.
4) To test whether the bulb is properly connected. Just try turning on headlights and make sure it lights up.

5) Then plug wiring component back in if your model has that. Then put backplate back in place , then insert the screws back in and screw in with screw driver tightly.
6) Then close the hood properly and check out head light will work properly.
That means your work is done.

If you're referring to the corner parking light, which get dinged very frequently, here's how you do it.

Open the hood. Near the corner there is a wide head philips head screw holding down the corner light bracket. Remove the screw. The light should now be loose. Slide it forward to remove. The bulb socket will be attached to the light. Twist it to detach.
