Question about 2003 GMC Yukon
Just had a diagnostic done on my truck at autozone, secondary to my engine light coming on and getting a "reduced engine power" display on my dash/electronic odometer area. at first truck would only go 15 mph, now running ok, but engine light still and diagnostic said failed TPS, no search results showed a match for a 2003 gmc yukon 2wd 5.3L gas engine, only matches for denali XL and yukon XL with 6.0L engines, is there a TPS for this model or the the others listed interchangable?
I had the same problem with my 2003 denali and came to find out that it was the battery causing the problem. the battery with sufficient power will dictate the tps. if the battery is low or bad, it won't have enough juice to allow the tps to. work. get your battery checked.

My reduced engine power light came on it was the throttle control connector there was problems with 2 of the wires.

Put some die electric grease in the connector to the throttle connector and also check the wiring there. the wires there are usually the cause of reduced engine power.

Could be your catalatic convertor or a plugged fuel filter

Tips for a great answer:
Oct 20, 2016 | GMC Cars & Trucks
Limited throttle mode--The control module will continue to use the accelerator pedal for throttle control; however, the maximum throttle opening is limited.
Throttle default mode--The control module will turn off the throttle actuator motor and the throttle will return to the spring loaded default position.
Forced idle mode--The control module will perform the following actions:
Limit engine speed to idle by positioning throttle position, or by controlling fuel and spark if throttle is turned off.
Ignore accelerator pedal input.
Engine shutdown mode--The control module will disable fuel and de-energize the throttle actuator.
You need to have it checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes , probably a accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor or TPS - throttle position sensor !
