Question about 1999 Mercury Cougar
Car does not start. It is not getting fuel. How do I locate first the fuel pump fuse, secondly the fuel pump relay, and third the fuel pump itself.
Is this a common problem for my 1999 Mercury Cougar
I have a similar problem with my 99 cougar. It will start when I spray starting fluid in the intake and I have gas at the test point but it doesn't seem to make it to the injectors.

Yes, For the fuel pump or Filter, it is uaually under the floor board under the car, It can be on either side, track your fuel line from the tank. Very Simple. I don't know why Ford does this but they do. SECOND: Yes, Look Under the Drivers Seat. THIRD. The Fuse box can be one of two places. Under the Hood, Or when you open the drivers door, Their you are. Not where you used to look. Up under the dash. Next to where Air should blow on your feet. Good Luck.
