Question about 2001 Audi A4
I need to replace the front indicator bulb on my audi A4 but it looks impossible to get too ? Does anyone know how to change it please.
Take out the two Torx bolts on top of the headlight assembly. Then there is a third hidden bolt. Look through the holes in the top front of the fender, above and behind the headlight's turn signal portion (you'll probably need to shine a light in there) and you'll see the third bolt. Remove that and the headlight pulls straight forward and out. Then you can change the bulb.

I agree with the last poster but to make it real easy, take off the front wheel and remove lining completely...this is about 8 torkx heads but now you can see the bulb assy clearly and it's a 20 sec job to changeout the globe.. Less cuts on the hands...more better....

Put your steering wheel on full lock so you can get at the screws which hold the wheel arch liner in place.remove the three screws nearest the indicator assembly . you should now be able to prise out enough of the liner to get your arm up behind it ! Feel around for the back of the indivator assembly and you should be able to get hold of the bayonet fitting which holds the bulb.undo this anti-clockwise and it will come out . Its a bit tight but can be done . replace the bulb and refit the bayonet/bulb assembly turning it clockwise this time !
