Gears are not shifting well
This is one flaw of MANY manufacturer's boo boos that I dealt with, and I am less than pleased given the price I paid for this Novalis flooring. They will be receiving a letter, as I have already written the major box store, Lowes.
I was excited when I opened the boxes, already had my chalk lines down, assistance with me, and began laying the tiles out in the correct direction. My mother, my assistance, began peeling the backs, and lying the tile into the lines. The first half of the box went smoothly, until it didn't. The tiles began to vary in size & shape, my mother mentioned it in a concerned tone. I looked through the rest of that box to find broken corners & more variance of sizes and shapes. Given I live an hour from Lowes, I called to ask if they had any more of the tiles I had, they did not have any, nor could they get any.
Being we were in the midst of the install coupled with being an uncontrolled Epileptic who cannot drive meant we were stuck with what we had. So, we decided to go ahead and open the other seven boxes of tile to see if it were just a fluke; it was NOT a fluke. So, we picked and chose the best tiles possible from the seven boxes. We then installed those tiles in the center of the room, leaving the jacked up tiles for cuts and along the walls where they would hopefully draw less attention. Sadly, we did NOT have enough tiles to complete the center of the room, given there were THAT many tiles with foibles which were not able to be ignored. We finished the install, while we managed the installation process without issue, the tiles are ANYTHING but up to par.
There are so very many problems with this entire ordeal in installing these tiles. I don't like the fact that I bought this with my "nest egg" money, I scrimped & saved specifically for this remodel. Only to open the tiles I paid so much to purchase, to find they were absolutely screw-balled with foibles. The tiles were NOT square aka misshapen & mis-measured tiles, beneath the paper debris was stuck to the glue on the back of the tiles, broken edges that were still inside the unopened boxes that were heavily padded, and some tiles were even glued to one another, when carefully separated you learned that one was broken. How this tile in the attached photo ended up getting wood embedded in it's front, I have no idea?
I am UNHAPPY. I would rather have purchased American, paid more for them, and cut corners somewhere else in my remodel insuring my floor looked perfect! We worked too hard to have it turn out as it did. Live & Learn!

Hello.
This a repair for a transmission shop. Sounds like the pumps are bad inside the transmission. Thats the worst option I have.
It also can be a poor shift linkage adjustment. And the last solution can be the speed module that tell the transmission when to shift.
Goodluck! I hope this helps!
SOURCE: Ford Escort 1997 Problems shifting gears
the speed sensor is located on the passenger side of the transmission , it has a 2 wire connector and is held down by 10mm bolt and clamp , sometimes the sensor will get stuck in the transmission when trying to remove it . persistence and a little WD-40 will help !

I HAD A FORD FOCUS AND THE PROBLEM WAS A MANIFOLD VACCUM LEAK AT THE HOSE THAT CONNECTS PCV VALVE TO INTAKE MANIFOLD. THIS HOSE CAN GET SATURATED WITH OIL AND COLLAPSE AND TEAR CAUSING A NO IDLE AND SHAKING CONDITION. IF THE CAR IS AN AUTOMATIC IT WILL HAVE TROUBLE SHIFTING BECAUSE OF INCORRECT RPM SIGNAL TO TRANS. CONTROL. ALL IS DUE TO VACCUM LEAK. ONE WAY TO FIND LEAK IS TO USE A SOLUTION OF DISH DETERGENT AND WATER IN A SPRAY BOTTLE AND SPRAY AREA AROUND AND BELOW THROTTLE BODY BELOW AIR CLEANER ASSY. ALSO LOOK FOR HOSE THAT ATTACHES AT MANIFOLD BELOW THROTTLE BODY AND BRANCHES OFF TO PCV VALVE SHOULD BE A "T" GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!
SOURCE: My P0745 code: My 2002 ford explorer has a problem
Some 2002 Explorer/Mountaineer vehicles built prior to 3/4/2002 with 5R55W transmission, may exhibit no 3rd gear or slipping 2-3 shift with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P0733 and P0745 present. This may be due to a broken intermediate band.
ACTION
If the conditions described are verified:
^ Follow Service Procedure "A" to confirm band is broken.
^ Follow Service Procedure "B" after verifying a band is broken.
Per Procedure "B", if a broken band is found replacement of both the OD and intermediate bands and pistons will be necessary. However, only an inspection of the direct clutch drum may be necessary. The drum should not be replaced unless damage is found.
SOURCE: blinking overdrive light , not shifting
Have the vehicle scanned. The overdrive light is like the check engine light for the transmission. There are transmission codes in the ecm if the overdrive light is blinking.

I have a 98 windstar. Lost 3rd gear and discoverd it was the bolt on the bracket under the das that holds the shift cable linkage ( it was striped and would not hold tight) I simply put some locktight on the threads and snugged it up and was fine for mths. now i lost 3rd and 2nd, i think i will find the same thing occured.
