How many frezze plugs are in a 2003 ford Taurus 3.0 liter v6?

Hi Vicki,
Firstly I've had to work out that you meant freeze plug" rather than frezze plug. Anyway, that's sorted. I think that the most likely source of information could be the Taurus car club of America. Ford Taurus Forum Ford Taurus Owners Car Club Forums
In addition, the image files that I've found seem to imply that there are 5 freeze plugs (this is on one side of the engine, I don't know whether it's symmetrical ie 10 plugs, or not = 5).

I have a 1990 ford mustang with a 2.3 liter moter and a freeze out plug come out is it to use a rubber or a nylon freezeout plug to replace it

this is not something i recommend to anyone. replacing with a original freeze plug is the correct way to do it. but if you have to use a quick replace then the rubber one will seal the best and the nylon will last longer. before you install use some m3 yellow adhesive around the edge before you install to make a water tight seal. hope this helps

How to change frezee plugs on 2000 ford taurus

You can drill a hole in the leaking freeze plugs and use a screwdriver to twist or wiggle each one out. Then, tap the new appropriately sized freeze plugs in, using a rubber mallet or hammer.

Also, note that sometimes you can use a rubber freeze plug replacement that has a screw that expands the diameter of the rubber stopper which can work as well as the original metal freeze plugs.

Good luck on this repair.

What is the approx cost to repaire the freeze plug

If you tap it in yourself, which sould be simple depending on the location, the plug will cost you a couple of dollars. You can also put in a rubber expandable plug that you can tighten with a wrench. Your local auto parts store will be able to help you decide which one would be best for you but the actual plug is very inexpensive.
