Yes you need to talk to your installer about this. There are several outputs on most remote starters that work on a neg - trigger. You want channel 3 or 4 of the rem start to trigger the seat heaters. You'll need a couple relays and a diode. Its not that big of a pain but you should let the same ppl who installed the rem start to hook up the seat heater option. You can turn them on just like you can pop the trunk with a button on your remote.

1998 chevy 3500 van won't turn over cold

Given that you have replaced the entire cranking system except the battery cables... I would put money on what Christopher said. You can do a voltage drop test to prove it if you have a DVOM. When it gets that cold it requires a lot of extra amperage to turn the starter. if you have a bad cable (corrosion inside the insulation is not un common) it can't pass the necessary amperage. Either cable of both can cause this problem. If you're in on of those places where it is all of a sudden like the North pole but doesn't normaly get that cold you may have had this problem all the while but didn't know it.

ICY Is just the outside air temperature when air temperature drops below 37 degrees it will outomaticly let you know.

What is the red light that looks like a snowflake

The snowflake appears when the outside temperature drops to 40 degrees or below, it then changes to red when it is 32 degrees and below. It seems the manufacturer thinks this will assist you with your driving habits on frozen roadways.

My 1992 accord does not blow.heat when outside temp drops below 40 degree.

If you have heat when its above 40 degrees most likely your problem is a bad thermostat, when it gets VERY cold out the engine cannot reach proper operating temperature to maintain heat quality because the thermostat is more then likely stuck in the open or partially **** in the open position....

How do u separate two piece flywheel

Thats your starter ring that you need to remove its a press fit so start by supporting the flywheel with some wooden blocks and then heat your starter ring with a torch so it will expand and can then be driven off with a hammer and drift punch.
To install the new starter ring you will need to use your wifes oven set at 450 degrees to heat the new starter ring for about 20 mins so it will expand and put the flywheel in the fridge at the same time so it will contract, have your hammer and drift punch ready so you can seat the starter ring on the flywheel before it cools down. P.S. Use oven mitts so you won't get burned!
