I HAVE A TOYOTA CELICA 2000 AUTOMATIC. I CLEANED THE BATTERY TERMINALS ONE NIGHT, WHEN I WAS CONNECTING THE POSITIVE THEIR WAS A SPARK. THE NEXT DAY I STARTED UP THE CAR AND DROVE IT, IT WOULD ACCELERATE SLOWLY. I ALSO HAD A PREVIOUS PROBLEM WHEN I START IT UP, IT TAKES A FEW TIMES TO START.. HOW CAN I FIX THIS?? IT IS THE FUEL PUMP OR FUEL INJECTORS.. WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR??
It might be your fuel injectors. The fuel injectors have been recalled. My 2000 gts was hesitating and i had the injectors cleaned and that fixed the problem. A month later i took it in for service and was advised that there was a recall on the fuel injectors.

The headlight control switch is on the steering column. To replace the switch remove the plastic trim covers over the steering tube to reveal the switch and connectors. Disconnect the battery negative cable before starting work, this is a must. Below is a picture of the switch.
you have blown your red line check gaskets from throttlebody gasket directly to the front of the intake. while running motor spray some brake cleaner around the areas one leak and you hear the automatic change in sound of motor. replace and torge to specs.
First of all, be certain that the leak is in fact from that seal. many leaks travel to that area.
To change the seal is fairly involved, you need to pull the trans and flywheel. There are some specialzed tools involved. Do you have manual or automatic? Manual requires clutch plate alignment on re assembly, by the way , if manual, be sure to change the release bearing and pilot bearing at minimum. Commonly it would make sense to change the clutch during this process....you're already all the way in there..
