1995 chrysler concorde with 3.5 motor. Hard to start in cold weather. Put in new plugs which are factory directed replacement (copper) and wires. Found leak in the in take manifold and replaced cracked o-rings on all of the injectors. Runs alot smoother with all of the above fixes but still is a hard starter. Found no codes and fuel pressure is 45-48 psi. auto mechanic friend suggests platnium plugs. Help.

99 jeep cherokee fail start

had this problem a few years back,,its going to be your crank position sensor,,its installed at the top of your transmission bell housing on the drivers side,,at the 2 o'clok position its fastened with a 9/16 ,5/8 bolt and connected to a wire ,,that should solve the problem if you get crank but no start,,it usually costs like about 40$ at any autoparts

I have a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee that won't start. Can't read codes - claims we need to check connections. Cranks fine. Notice that fuel gauge and battery voltage does not register anythin

Hi Roger, Sounds to me as if you may have a problem with the anti theft unit in your vehicle. A diagnostic scan would help greatly to pin point the problem. Regards John

My 1999 jeep will stop running while driving it

Hi, i have a 1999 jeep grand cherokee, 4.0 litre, had the same problem, quits running out of the blue, driving down the road, or sitting idling. starts right back up or takes some cranking to get it running. found out that the crankshaft position sensor was going bad, cost 40$ for the part, but had to have mechinac replace it due to it's location, hard to get at. jeep runs great now.

I have a 99 jeep cherokee sport will not start

Seems to be a chronic problem with crank position sensors... On yours it is tested between b&c terminals and should have no continuity there. (should show an open circuit if good)

1999 Jeep Sport will not start

It could be your Crank Shaft Sensor. That's what it was on my 99 Cherokee Sport the first time that happened.
