Question about 2007 Toyota Land Cruiser

It was driven on a long KM with hand break on

2007 Land cruizer Automatic Transmission with Vin nos ;JTMHY05J984000404 was driven for so long with the Hand break enguage. My local mechanic told me that the Clutch Disc and Leather Plate has Damage. What are possible damage associated with this Problem ? Do i need Break Pads/ Linning ? Pls, kindly offer useful Tips,information and suggestion on how to go about the repair of the said Problem.

It's possible that you've done some damage.
Depending upon how firmly your parking brake was applied while you drove (clearly not that firmly, if you were able to drive) you could have overheated those rear brakes.
Any decent mechanic can tell you after taking a quick look. The range of what this might cost you runs from nothing, to about $150 if you need shoes, to $350 if you need your drums replaced, too.
In addition, if parking brake is properly applied car shouldnot move at all.

Looking for the electric gear box on 2000 land rover


What electronic gearbox ? there will iether be a manual transmission ( thats where you can change gear using a clutch, thats the extra pedal on the left) or you have an automatic transmission( thats where you have a lever thats allows you to put it into R, D etc and DOES NOT have an extra peda) these gearboxes are not electronic, they are driven by oil pressure. What will you do when you find the ........ gearbox ?

If this Land Rover has an Automatic transmission or if you are using full time four wheel drive the problem is in the chain driven transfer case. You need a transmission rebuild.
