where is the mpi relay? it is not turbo, it dies also when it is cold, we usually warm it up for about 15 minutes .

already replaced the fuel filter, that was before the pump was replaced. the in-tank filter was also replaced. we are in el paso, tx.

There is a mpi relay i would check that, it would click if it was short circuiting or bad, but could be other things too. is it turbo?

hey one thing i would do for sure its only like 5 bux is replace your fuel filter could be restricted, to find out you would have to put a fuel pressure gauge inbetween the system but its so cheap i would just toss one on to be safe.

ok well when this happens next time and it wont start, pull a plug and stick it next to something metal (grounded) then have someone turn the car over, and see if there is spark im wondering about your crank/cam position sensor this would cause that. and if that is the problem one thing that would happen when its malfunctoining is that you would loose spark because of the missing cam/crank signal.

1992 F-150 Won't stay running,even if you pump/push on the gas.

Sounds like the pump is not getting power all the time. I know you said you replaced the connector to the pump, but have you replaced the pump. It sounds like the pump has a short in it. Also when it does not work have you tried hitting the reset button on it to see if it will start working. Try this next time and if it starts working after messing with the switch the problem is in the switch.

1998 mitsubishi mirage wont start?

check if the fuel pump is working, if you have someone near the tank and someone else crank motor you should be able to hear a bzzzzzz rom the tank from the pump. if no noise is heard then hit or thump the tank, this can make a fuel pump start to work again, if it starts, then the pump is almost dead
