SOURCE: OC code in rear view mirror temp field

you could always try unplugging the battery for about ten minutes to see if that resets it. make sure you have the code for the stereo first if it requires one.

SOURCE: electrochromic rear view mirror does not dim when turned on

These mirrors are all made by one company, no matter the car maker, they all have the same problems, they are very unreliable, if u have power to the mirror which I am 100% sure u do the mirror will need to be replaced, they are not repairable they are about $250-300

My rear view mirror with temp and compass sometimes will not work. It will show all the digital shows up at once and not the temp, but sometimes it works ok. What can I do?

Does the compass work when the temperature goes out? If the compass still works then chances are that the ambient temp sensor is defective. Also, could be wiring to the sensor. If the compass goes out with the temperature then chances are the mirror itself is defective. Cheapest most common problem is the ambient temp sensor. It's behind the grill by the condenser at the front of the vehicle.

There is no power to my rear view mirror with Temp and compass. Is there a fuse for this? I can't find it in the manual

My airbag light will not cut off and my temp and compass on my rearview mirror cut off the same time it went out too... I changed the fuse because it was blown... it works for a couple of days and then cuts back off... I took it to the dealership and they did a dianogstic check and can't find the problem

I have 03 silverado the service airbag light stays on.

I had this problem myself and come to find out it was a blown fuse which also controls the outside temp display and compass built into the rear view mirror. Check in your fuse box located under the hood on the driver side, open the big black box cover and locate the airbag fuse. Pull it out and check to see if it is burnt. Replace it if necessary.
Hope this helps you
