Usually on 94 Corolla the positive terminal is on the passenger side and the negative terminal is on the driver side.

Make sure you do not hook them up in reverse, there could be huge problems if you do.

Can't tell you without looking at the battery, it may be in backwards...This is what you need to tell the difference between positive and negative:
The positive terminal usually has a plastic red cap over the wire. The positive wire is usually red.
The positive wire leads to the fusebox, and the starter.
The Negative wire connects to the fender. Is is usually closer to the fender. Let me know if this helps, a FixYa rating would be greatly appreciated.

Where is the battery located

Underneath the air cleaner housing. To remove and replace if you can start the car turn steering wheel fully to the right or remove tire. Open hood, disconnect remote battery terminals, remove air intake filter box, remove vented panel inside front of right wheel well. On these cars you will have to disconnect exposed positive cable battery terminal first. BE CAREFUL YOUR WRENCH DOES NOT TOUCH ANY METAL WHILE REMOVING TERMINAL FROM BATTERY POST. Loosen and remove the two bolts on the tie down that secures battery in place. Slide battery until the negative terminal is exposed, disconnect and slide battery out into wheel well. Reverse order to install new battery.

Where is my fuel pmp relay at

Hi Leeanne
If it is an injected model, here is the AllData instructions;

CIRCUIT OPENING RELAY (that is what it's called).

On Camry, Celica Corolla RWD and Van models, remove glove box. On Pickup and 4Runner models, remove right kick panel, glove box and speaker. On MR2 models, remove rear luggage compartment trim. On Cressida and 1985---Early 1986 Supra models, remove left kick panel. On Corolla FWD models, remove ECU cover from behind center console. On late 1986---1988 Supra models, remove right side kick panel.
Remove circuit opening relay with wiring from bracket.
Insert voltmeter positive probe into rear of connector at Fp terminal.
Meter should read battery voltage during cranking and while engine is running.
Disconnect electrical connector from relay and measure resistance between terminals.
If relay fails to perform satisfactory, relay is defective.

There is also a main relay on the left side. This will control the ECU

You might check this as well:

most of the time it is on the driver side down low inside the kick panel to test the pump you jump the two terminals under the hood by the fuse panel, the B+ one and the FP one with a paperclip

Need to replace serpentine belt

Open the hood of your Prizm and locate the negative battery terminal on the battery. Loosen the clamp bolt on the negative battery cable end with a wrench and remove the cable from the battery terminal. Isolate the battery cable from the battery terminals while you are working.

  • 2 Locate the serpentine belt tensioner on the front of the engine; it is on the left as you look at it from the front. Place a breaker bar and socket on the bolt in the center of the tensioner and rotate it counterclockwise, releasing the tension on the belt.
  • 3 Slide the belt off the tensioner, rotate the tensioner back to the free arm position, and then remove the belt from the rest of the pulleys. Discard the old belt and install the new belt onto the pulleys, paying careful attention to the belt path.
  • 4 Rotate the tensioner counterclockwise with the breaker bar and socket, then slide the belt onto it. The path for the belt is printed on a sticker placed under the hood of the car, normally on the radiator support, so be sure to follow it if you are unsure how the belt is routed.
  • 5 Rotate the tensioner clockwise, allowing it to tighten the belt. Remove the socket and breaker bar from the tensioner, then install the negative battery cable on the battery terminal. Tighten the clamp bolt with a wrench and close the hood.

How do you replace the battery?

OPen the hood then remove the battery connections at the battery, start with the neg terminal then the positive terminal, next is the hold down, look at the front or rear of the battery at the base you will see a small bracket with a bolt, remove the bolt and the bracket, next remove the battery, with battery out use a terminal cleaning brush to clean battery terminals, next is to install the battery and the hold down bracket and bolt and tighten then connect the positive and then negitive terminals and battery is installed, good luck and i hope this is helpful.

Where is the starter of toyota corolla 95 and how do i remove it?

Locate the battery. (right side front engine bay) look down and to the left. see that little cylinder with the fat wire going to it? that's the starter. Its in between the transmission front side, and the radiator. You should be able to see the long bolts going into it from the back side of the starter. First remove your battery and set it aside then open the plastic access cap to get to the terminal. Remove the wiring. once wires are free of starter, remove the long bolts. slide starter towards the right of the engine bay. It should be free now and in your hand, ready to be tested or replaced. To test it, get a second person to help. get a set of jumper cables. connect the negative side of the battery to the metal casing of the starter and connect the positive side of the jumper cable to the places where you removed the wires. Hook up the negative battery lead of the jumper to the negative battery terminal. Touch the positve lead to the positve terminal. Warn your buddy before doing this because the starter will try to twist as it spins up. If the starter spins, and you see the gear (throwout) push forward towards the tip, then starter is okay. Do this test, let me know what happens, and I can tell you what to check next.

How do I change the blinker circuit in the dash of my '94 Corolla

    33b318c.jpg
Hi mate this is an easy wiring diagram to use and you only have one flasher unit for both flasher and Hazard operations. Sorry for taking so long to answer bit buzzy. I have a circuit stored some where in my brain for a two flasher unit also but this one is the most simplest you will get.

Remember to fuse the Ignition wire. Ask the supplier which contacts are negative and positive on the flasher, don't mix them up you will blow up the flasher. If the dash lights aint working run a wire parrallel to those wires from the circuits left and right (two terminal Type). Some flashers have a build in (three terminal Type) dash signal terminal.

    Can't start my car

The starter is located partially underneath the engeine in the center rear , right about at the midpoint of the cylanders anout 6- 12 down , its mostly hidden be the engiene itself, but you can see it by leaning over the engiene and peering down the opening, an easier way would be looking at the cap for your oil going right about 6 inches and looking down, another problem I've had with my corolla which i thought was the starter ended up being the erosion of the terimnals on the battery cables, the positive terminal is attached to a fusebox, connect by a small terminal, which can erode, you can fix that issue by rigging the battery with a piece of metal to conduct and a replament terminal on the battery.
