A green light skows indicating "service engine soon"

bring the car to a local mechanic and have them look over the car as the "service engine soon" light can mean a verity of different things need to be checked, replaced, and sometimes it is as simple as having the computer reset. There really is no way to determine what the problem is or if there is even a problem just by looking at the light.

Service engine soon light went on on my mitsubishi montero sport 2000

you can take it to any autozone or advanced auto to get the light scanned but before you purchase whatever sensor they tell you to get, find a good mechanic that can give a second opinion. Often a sensor can be thrown off by another faulty sensor that may not come up during scan.

My service engine soon light is on

it means that you either need an oil change or a tune up. if you go to Auto zone you can get a technician to hook up there system and tell you whats wrong with it.
