Question about 2003 Audi TT
The latch on my Audi TT (2001) hatchback locked in the closed position. Thus when I pull the hatchback down, it just bounces off the closed/locked latch and I cannot secure it closed. It potentially flies open on the road since it is not locked. Is this electrical? Can I simply unlatch it with a screwdriver? It does not release when I apply the unlock button inside the car or from the remote key.
The fault sounds like its the catch at fault, I would recomend replacing, if you can open tgailgate, operate the unlock funcion using key and try and move the catch position
