How to remove the oil pan on a 2012 Fiat 500 1.4 non turbo engine with automatic trans

I ahve a broken oil pan and need to replace it. I bought the pan from the dealer and was ready to install when I looked at the engine there are two bolts that come from the transmission side that are impossible to get unless you separate the transmission form the motor. I am not sure if this can be done from in the car or not. I cant find any pics of what it looks like behind the transmission so its hard to tell. Any help would be appreciated.

On automatic models, you need to remove the engine and transmission together in order to remove the oil pan. Manual transmission models can be done without engine removal.

Hi Melissa,
How did you manage to fix the problem with the two bolts? I have the same problem with my alfa romeo 159 2.0 jtdm.

2018 Fiat 500 Turbo - help with shifting?

This says it is one or the other.

For 2018, the Fiat 500 will come standard with a turbocharger fitted to its 1.4-litre engine, offering 33 percent more horsepower than its predecessor.
The engine now boasts 135 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque, delivered to the wheels via a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. Every Fiat 500 trim will also come with a facelifted sportier appearance, so you can tell it apart from its sluggish antecedent.

Hi ,bought a fuel injector from eBay and I'm not sure it's the right one for my fiat coupe 20 v turbo ,are the injectors for a fiat coupe 20v non turbo the same ?

Turbo and non turbo are not the same...check the serial numbers against one another, if you install one wrong injector you will damage your engine completely!
ask the agents nicely if they can compare before replacement! Good luck cheers Dave

Bought 2012 Fiat 500 Pop that has front end damage. Key stuck.

To remove the key, you take off the steering wheel covers. Underneath, there is a red tab to push in. Push in the red tab and remove key. Fuel cut off is your next problem. You use your directionals to reset the airbag module to turn on fuel. The procedure is listed in the owners manual under " in case of accident"

Trans code number automatic tranny 88 volvo

Hello. i have owned many 740's, 240's, 122's, and 850's. I have done my fair share of transmission swaps. The transmission tag is located right above the trans-oil pan and directly below the od seloind on the drivers-side. if your volvo 740 is a non-turbo, the transmission is AW-70L, if it is a turbo-model then it is AW-71L. Good luck :)

1994 oilpan

Remove the starter, remove the flywheel dust shield, remove the motor mounts center bolt, jack the engine as far up as possiable, this will then give you access to the oil pan bolts.
