My blower motor does the same, works sometimes and does'nt, how do I replace the motor, I believe there is a short in the motor itself, when I wiggle the wires it comes on but does not stay on.

How do I replace the blower motor? mine works when I wiggle the wires going to it but does not stay on, I believe there is a short in the motor itself. I need to know how to remove it because it is encased in a plastic cover, does the dashboard have to come off?

Heater blower does not work on 1992 Buick Park Avenue

Hit the blower motor with a hammer handle and see if it starts, if it does replace the blower motor, if it doesn't replace the blower motor resistor located next to the blower motor in the air ducting with the connector sticking out of the air ducting

1999 Buick Le Sabre Custom, My heat, and defrost work fine, but my car won't cool when I turn on the AC. My air conditioning is charged and the blowers work fine but why wont they blow cold air?

The first I would do is check if the a/c compressor is working. Start vehicle then turn a/c on in vehicle full power and then off/on a couple of times if you hear a click when turned on then compressor is working properly. If this is the case then you need freon. If not turning on,first check fuses, for location refer to owners manual,if not fuse then compressor needs to be checked which then you will need service manual purchase at local autoparts store.

I have 1992 buick lesabre with a heater fan that wont turn off

the heater fan relay should be in the fuse panel. if not ck see if there is a regular fuse too. Who was messing with the car to do that? find the heater blower switch which should be by the radio... and sometimes it is easier to just take out the radio to get more room. check the wiring make sure nothing else is hooked to it . do the same for the blower which may be easy to get to under the pass side dash or thrught the glove box. but check the wires.
