Question about 2003 Ford F150 Regular Cab
How do you reset the radio?
Disconnect the battery terminals... wait about 10 secs and reconnect... that should do it

Remove the center oval trim panel. I usually just grab in the HVAC vents and pull, but you might want to use a plastic trim tool to work your way around the center trim bezel.
Pro Fit International has some good directions with pictures ( obviously only use them for accessing the radio, no need to continue for the vehicle specific mount )
This should be your MY and make ( right click save as ):
Once the radio is exposed, you will see 2 sets of round holes on each side.
You can buy the tools, or just bend a wire coat hanger in the required shape to insert into the holes to release the radio.
These are usually called Ford DIN Radio Removal Tool ( or similar ) if you want to purchase the actual tools, but I have had good luck with the coat hanger DIY tool.

the holes you see in the corners of the radio, approximately 1/8" diameter. You have to ahve a special tool that goes into the holes to release the radio. If you have a thin enough screwdriver you can slide it through the holes, however you may need two to get it to release.
