    1. Open the hood.
    2. Now on top of the headlight assembly there are two bolts that need to be removed.
    3. There are a couple of plastic pieces that need to be removed now.
    4. Now remove that third bolt on the assembly that is down a bit lower.
    5. Unhook the connector to the headlight bulb.
    6. Now slide the assembly forward enough to unhook the blinker bulb connector.
    7. Now slide the assembly the rest of the way out.
    8. The bulbs are located under one of two caps that screw out.
    9. Reverse to install the new assembly.
    10. For this car it is a big pain in the rear to try to change the bulb without removing the assembly which take just a few minutes anyway.

                    1. Hope this helps.

2004 elantra - front parking light replacement

The little parking light (also known as a city light) is in a plastic connector below the low beam lamp that simply slides out of the headlight assembly.

Grasp the plastic connector and pull back away from the headlight assembly and you will be able to unplug the light from the connector for replacement.

My low beam lights sometimes stop working i still have high beam and daylight runing lights after a while they come on.2009 elantra dealer can't find problem.

when the low beams quit try switching from high to low and back and see if low beams stay on, if they do it may be the dimmer switch, if that doesn't change anything suspect the headlight switch.
