Why has my peugeot 406 wipers stopped parking? They just stop randomly

You clearly have a leaking power problem.
1) first check if the battery finaly died and can't hold proper voltage. If it is having 12V just before starting but drops fast a new is required.
2)This may be a long shot but give it a try. If one diode in the generator is broken you might see this kind of problem. With the battery fully charger try to disconnect the generator. Take care for shortcut of the cable taken off - it is still plus from battery. If the problems dissapear then the generator is ready for a being reworked. Do you know why the battery vent flat? if not this can be the same reason. With only one faulty diode the generator will still do some chargeing with engine running.
PS: while working with generator cables it might be a good idea to disconnect from battery until cable is secure garfa'ed.

Immobilizer falt

Have you tried to unplug the battery leads, let it sit for 24 hours and start it? I realize how it sounds but usually the easiest thing is the last resort.
