R-134. Your local parts place might have a kit that has everything you need to add R-134 FREON. I've also seen them at wal-mart too. Follow the instructions exactly as written. When you say Air Conditioner coolant I am assuming that you need the Freon and NOT the Anti-Freeze that goes in the little tank mounted on the firewall.

HOW TO LET THE AIR OUT THE COOLING SYSTEM ON A 2002 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE

You should have a vacuum puller, but alternatively, you can purge it by letting in freon on the low side and opening the high side for about 4 seconds, that should purge all the air in the system.

What do i need to do after i have replaced the radiator with the coolant does the system need to be flushed and how do i do that.

You wouldn't add new coolant, then ruin it with some type of
flush product

Install the new radiator after you flush the system with clear water
& add new coolant 50/50 or 60/40

Do you have some type of problem that brings this question
about?

Air condition blowing hot air. Type of car: 2003 nissan pathfinder 4x4. Should I replace/add coolant?

Lack of Coolant wouldn't cause your AC to blow hot air.

You may have a vaccum leak in your dash board that is causing your heater to remain stuck.

If not this, then you will have to have your AC recharged. You can purchase a recharging kit from your local auto parts store! Fortunately, your vehicle can use the newer type of AC Recharging kits so you have many options!

Good luck and I hope this helped!

What type of coolant does it use

Glycol based (green color) 50/50 with water is fine. Just make sure you bleed the system if you need to add alot. Trapped air in the coolant system can cause overheating. Also, change your thermostat every 30k miles.

My 2002 vw passat check coolant light is on. How do I add coolant and what coolant should I use?

There is a coolant reservoir on the driver side of the engine compartment. You just need to take the cap off and add coolant to the max lever when the car is cold. Never open it with the engine hot. Then you need to use the coolant type G12. You won't find it anywhere else but directly from the dealer. Its very important to use the this type of coolant so you dont damage any component of your cooling system. You're be paying about $17.50 per galon of G12 or price may be different depending of which state you're at.

Hi, iv got jaguar s type r 2002, could someone tell me how do i bleed air out from heater system, thers no heating in the car. it was all fine before it started leaking engine cooling water, now thats got...

What I do is park the car uphill. Let it cool, open the cap, start it, and let it warm up until coolant flows in the radiator. Add coolant and let the air burp out until there is good flow with no bubbles coming up.

What type of coolent do i need to use in my 2006 Suzuki forenza?

Just make sure that the coolant is mixed 50/50. Don't worry about the color. You can buy coolant pre-mixed, which says you the trouble of mixing it yourself. Hope this helped.

Hi,is never a bad thing to add a good fuel injector cleaner to your gas tank to prevent injectors from getting cloged ,you can try this for two days ,if no diference , check your air conditioner idle compensator, this regulates the idle when you turn the air on and off. good luck
